Let's get your home ready for photos!

I have compiled a detailed list of items to help you get your home "showcase ready" for photos. The key to great property photos is declutter as much as possible! Less is more in most cases, and we want your home to show in the best light.


Turn on ALL overhead lights & shut off ALL fans! Open Curtains and Blinds in all rooms and move cars and garbage cans from driveway before our arrival!


Exteriors


  • Have Vehicles moved from driveway
  • Garbage cans out of sight
  • Trim any shrubbery/tree's, spruce up your flower beds.
  • Clean up any animal feces.
  • Put away all lawn equipment.

Living Areas


  • Open curtains to allow all natural light in.
  • Vacuum/mop where needed.
  • Declutter; hide cords, remotes, tissue boxes, etc.
  • Turn OFF TV's.
  • Remove animals beds, litter boxes, pet toys.
  • Straighten/fluff couch cushions and pillows.

Kitchen


  • Remove as much small appliances as possible. (i.e Toaster, air fryers, crockpots, etc.)
  • Vacuum/mop where needed
  • Clean your sink and hide all sponges and brushes.
  • Wipe down all counters and cabinets and touch up any scuff marks if possible.
  • Hide garbage bis and pet food bowls.
  • Make sure all bulbs are working and the same color/hue.

Bathrooms


  • All bathrooms should be clear of anything on the counters. i.e Toothbrushes/paste, lotion bottles, razors, jewelry.
  • Vacuum/mop where needed.
  • Remove all towels or fold them neatly for display. Remove behind the door holders and towels/robes.
  • Bathtubs and Showers should be free of all bottles, razors, and glass doors should be as clean as possible.
  • Hide garbage bins, toilet brushes, aerosol cans, and weight scales.
  • Remove rugs, if possible, we want to see your beautiful floors!

Dining Area


  • Clean/wipe down table and chairs.
  • Vacuum/mop where needed.
  • Remove highchairs/booster seats if possible.


Bedrooms


  • Vacuum/mop where needed.
  • Refrain from pushing clutter under the beds, this can be seen.
  • Clear off end tables, dressers, desks, etc. Hide all cords and remotes and shut off TV's.
  • Remove jewelry, chargers, papers, phones, and weapons and store them away. Remember, your photos go online so don't leave out anything you don't want the world to see.
  • Make sure your beds are neat and tidy.

Patios/Pools


  • Both of these items should be clean and free of clutter and toys.
  • Remove any pet toys and feces from yard.
  • Store away all lawn equipment and tools.
  • Remove ash trays, bongs, garbage bins, and pool supplies.
  • Tidy up seating areas.
  • Remove pool vacuums if possible, please.
  • If you have pool fountains, turn those on if you'd like them showcased in your photos.
  • Please make sure you lawn sprinklers are shut off for the duration of the session- we do not want any surprise "showers" during our time there. ;)

Pets


  • I absolutely adore all animals, however for the session, we ask that you keep your pets out of the way at all times for the duration of the session.
  • Clean up their "areas" as well.
  • If your pet is not comfortable around people or is hyper/energetic, please think about either putting them in a crate or taking them for a walk while the photographer is there. Safety first please.
